Chkrecov v1.2 Requirements: IRIX 6.4 - 6.5.x
A application for very basic checking of recoverability on a SGI. It checks for the existence of "sash" and "fx" within the /stand directory and the volume header as well as a "unix.bak" file in the root directory. Note: some people make a copy of kernel with other names so "unix.bak" may not exist.
To install: use inst-packaged installer on the SGI you wish to check and then execute it to run. To run(if /usr/local is in your path): type chkrecov at prompt. (or use full path: /usr/local/bin/chkrecov). Requires super-user access.

OutguessWrapper v1.4 is a small Cocoa application written in Objective-C. It acts as a GUI interface to the command-line
program called outguess. Outguess is a steganographic tool that allows the insertion of hidden information into the redundant bits of data sources.
OutguessWrapper Requirements:
- OS X 10.3 - 10.4, including 10.4 for intel as the installer is a universal binary.
- A directory named 'outguess_vault' must exist on your desktop and if not made manually will be made automatically if not there. This will be the directory where any output, I.E., new concealed image or retrieved text files will reside.
Optional 1: Though not required you also have the option in compiling the developers source code for outguess from outguess.org

Sasnet v1.1 Requirements: IRIX 6.4 - 6.5.x
A application for turning off network daemon and then back on. Good for when you are at a remote site and not at console of SGI you want to stop and start network services on. This program will make sure that even though you just cut your connection, your network services will be back on.
To install: use inst-packaged installer on the remote SGI you wish to turn off & on its network services. To run (if /usr/local is in your path): type sasnet at prompt. (or use full path: /usr/local/bin/sasnet). Requires super-user access.
